hello / آداب
I'm Kashif Shahzad.
I lead KashScript — a foundry building three solutions and the artifacts beneath them. I work out of Islamabad, on most things, most days.
shape of the work
I started KashScript because the apps I wanted to build all kept hitting the same wall. They needed portable identity, verifiable trade, and an AI that respects consent. No platform shipped that combination, so we wrote the protocols ourselves.
The studio is in Islamabad. Contributors work from wherever they are, and most of what we do is open. Local in spirit, public in output.
I'll admit I usually pay more attention to the protocols than to the visual design. This site is partly here to prove I can do both.

Standards, not custody.
We define formats and ship contracts. The personal data stays on the user's side of the line.
Less in the kernel.
UI, infra, and local schemas belong to the solutions that use them. The shared layer is the thinnest thing that makes them work together.
Build in daylight.
Open source where it makes sense. Plain governance, dated releases, public receipts. The work happens in the open.
