Paceplug.
Startups, scale-ups, operating companies.
Employment, equity, escrowed deal flow — verifiable across the lifecycle of a private company.
the framing question
What does sovereignty mean for a private company?
It means the employment relationship is a chain of signed attestations, not an HR row. It means equity vests against milestones a multi-sig governs, not a spreadsheet a single admin edits. It means the onboarding agent that runs KYC, links banking, and dispatches the first payroll cycle is fully replayable end-to-end — every decision a signed receipt, every privileged action gated by a co-founder envelope.
the three artifacts, tailored for industry
Multi-sig company DIDs — every co-founder signs board-level actions independently. The constitution names the founder set and an M-of-N strict-majority threshold; any equity grant, banking change, or hiring decision requires a quorum signature. Same primitive as social recovery in a different role: recovery rotates a key, multi-sig authorises an action. (See identity-sdk/use-cases/paceplug-cofounder-multisig.)
MILESTONE for equity vesting (4-year cliff + monthly), SUBSCRIPTION for SaaS recurring billing, ESCROW for B2B deal flow with arbitrator dispute. ERC-4337 paymaster sponsorship — the company eats the gas so contractors don't need an ETH balance to receive their first payment. (See trade-sdk/use-cases/whiffin-sponsored-gas.)
Onboarding agent with privileged-action gating — KYC, bank-link, hire, set pay-period, run payroll, notify. Phase-3.1 RecursiveDecomposer plans the DAG; every tool-bind step is checked against the agent's allowlist (hallucinated tools rejected as TOOL_HALLUCINATION). Phase-2.2 handshake gates the first payroll dispatch behind a co-founder envelope. (See neuron/use-cases/paceplug-payroll-decomposer + duedale-handshake.)
Where Paceplug lives today
Three flagship use cases prove the artifacts cover the startup-onboarding loop end-to-end: co-founder multi-sig identity (8 tests), payroll-decomposer DAG planning (7 tests), and sponsored-gas paymaster flow (6 tests). No live customer deployment yet — the abstraction is proven, a first design-partner engagement is the next step.
engage
Pilot Paceplug with your startup.
If you've done your seed round and want hiring + payroll + equity vesting backed by signed receipts instead of a spreadsheet, the program is ready to engage. Studio runs the deployment as a fixed-scope phase.
